WHAT IS IELTS?

IELTS is the International English Language Testing System. It measures ability to communicate in English across four language skills – listening, reading, writing and speaking – and is designed for people who plan to study or work where English is the language of communication.

The IELTS is the prerequisite exam for international students at most universities and institutions in the Commonwealth countries, including the U.K., Canada, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. Minimum scores for admission into study programs vary according to the individual institution.

The IELTS exam is administered in two or three test sessions every month at the IDP and at the British Council in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and at University of Danang - University of Queensland English Language Institute.

HOW CAN I PREPARE FOR THE IELTS EXAM?

Apollo offers a new intensive IELTS Preparation Course that will train you in the testing skills required to maximize your potential in the IELTS exam.

We offer THREE levels of study o­n the IELTS courses. Level 1 is for students at the Pre-Intermediate B level, Level 2 is for students at the Intermediate level or higher and Level 3 is for Upper Intermediate level students or higher.

The preparation course is available for both the Academic and General Training modules. Each course comprises 60 hours of study.

REGISTRATION

Before registering, students must take the Apollo Placement Test which includes a writing component (timed essay) and a spoken interview. Please telephone the Apollo centre closest to you to book a Placement Test.

Students need to register at least a week in advance in order to secure a place in the course.

10 week course 3 times a week, Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday
          17:00 – 19:00 or 19:15 – 21:15
